Eaton Bray - Neighbourhood Plan

The Council wanted to take the opportunity to thank the NP Steering group for all the work being done on the plan. Residents, keep your eyes on the Parish Council web site/facebook, read the Focus report - for updates. If you feel you can offer any support please come along to our meetings. However support doesn’t need to be attending monthly meetings, perhaps you have the time to help with data collection/research. Contact the Parish Clerk.

Christmay Fayre

We are looking for market stall holders from Eaton Bray Parish to come forward if interested in having a stall on Market Square, Eaton Bray this Christmas. If interested please contact the Parish Clerk.

Watercourse Maintenance/River Ouzel

The Council have been contacted by the River Ouzel drainage board regarding some damage to a section of the river bank at Mill End Close. It has been agreed that the Council meet up with the drainage board to look at the issues and proposed works required.

Bus Route 43 Update

From the 1st May 2017, a number of supported services had to be brought in line within the guidelines of the CBC passenger transport consultation. Service 43 serves Studham to Dunstable and on Tuesdays operates through Totternhoe, Eaton Bray and Leighton Buzzard. CBC received a number of requests/comments from customers, local parish councils ... all of which were taken on board and reviewed to ensure CBC provide the best service to all residents, within the financial constraints of the contract.

You can view the amended timetable (which has been submitted to the Traffic Commissioner and provisionally upon their acceptance, the new timetable will start on Monday 30th October) within Focus, on the Parish Council Website and Facebook.
