Village Market

The Spring Village Market is planned for Saturday 11th May 2019, from 10am at Market Square, Eaton Bray.

Parish Burial Land

At the moment the Parish Council are unable to purchase additional burial land, therefore once the current cemetery is full the cemetery will be closed to future burials. The Council are in talks with church representative regarding additional land, but this is currently being discounted by the Diocese.

If you would like to get involved in trying to slow down traffic in the village/concerned about road safety, please contact the Parish Clerk.

Advertising in Parish

Due to repeated flouting of Parish rules from business/individuals displaying unauthorised advertising on parish land, the Parish Council will be reviewing the current policy with approved changes to take effect from Monday 1st April 2019. Watercourse Maintenance

The Parish Council have a duty to stop water leakage from the main river going into the adjacent ditch - the main bank requires repair. There are potentially three options of repair/costs to the Council however the Internal Drainage Board (IDB) are carrying out further investigative work since clearing the site, prior to putting final proposals to the Council. The Parish Council are also looking to IDB to contribute towards these potentially extensive costs and request they look to other contractors regarding costs.
