Christmas Carols & Brass Band, 23rd December 2016 - Cancellation
Just prior to the event, the Parish Council were contacted by the Brass Band cancelling the booking due to the bad weather; with such short notice the Parish Council did put cancellation notices on the Eaton Bray website/facebook pages and also asked others, if able, to let people know. Obviously with such short notice we were unable to inform everyone. The Parish Council were very disappointed with this cancellation, especially after the work that had been put in. Hopefully next year the weather will not cause any issues and the event will once again run.
Car Park Markings: Recreation Ground
The Council are in the process of painting car park marking in the recreation ground car park. Planned work due December/January.
Church Lane: Planning Notice displayed
The Council are to look into this matter further and report back their findings.
Overgrown Trees/Bushes
Another reminder by the Parish Council that residents need to ensure their hedges/bushes/trees do not encroach onto the public footpath, or block streetlights; please cut back any overgrowth to your property boundary line, allowing free access/visibility for footpath users.
