Summary of Minutes - 11th May 2015
Speedwatch
To date the team have carried out three speedwatch checks, from those at least 122 vehicles have been monitored doing in excess of 36 mph through the parish. These checks will be ongoing during the next months.
Neighbourhood Plan
An application from Eaton Bray Parish Council to designate the parish as a ‘Neighbourhood Area’ has been made to Central Bedfordshire Council and a notice displayed accordingly
EBAT Team/Village Improvements
- Eaton Bray Bloomers - the team are continuing with the planting scheme for the village. More helpers always appreciated.
- Christmas Wreaths - very popular addition to the village Christmas festivities, Parish Council are looking at increasing the area in the parish for the wreaths to be displayed.
- Christmas Trees - White Horse/Three corners; very popular with parish, looking at doing the same for Christmas 2015.
Accounts For Year Ending 31 March 2015
The Clerk, as RFO, reported that parish council year end accounts have been completed, ready for approval at the Annual Meeting of Eaton Bray Parish Council on 11th May 2015. The final accounts were signed off by the Internal Auditor on the 8th May 2015, once approved by the Parish Council the accounts will be forwarded to the external auditors for 29th June 2015.
Election Of Chairman
Cllr. Windmill was elected as Chairman of the Parish Council.

Football Pitches
Although EB Lions have been using two mini pitches on School Lane Recreation Ground for two years, the Parish Council is considering putting in place an official agreement for its use by the club. The council are writing to residents (owner/occupiers) of properties directly affected by the two mini pitches at school lane to obtain their opinion on the use of these mini pitches.
Standing Orders/Financial Regulations/Risk Assessment
The Parish Council adopted the Standing Orders, Financial Regulations and Risk Assessment for 2o15.
Accounts For Year Ending 31st March 2015
The Clerk distributed details of the accounts for the Annual Return. It was agreed to approve the annual accounts, the Chairman signed the accounts on behalf of the Parish Council.
