  • Land Off Totternhoe Road, Eaton Bray: Awaiting a decision, once known the Parish Council will be informed.
  • Council Tax: Band D – the rate to be decided on the outcome of the police budget consultation: If the final decision is ‘yes’ the rate will be £1648.56, if the final decision is ‘no’ the rate will be £1615.20. Awaiting final decision.

Ban On HGV Vehicles Over 7.5 Tonnes Through Parish

Funding has been agreed for Totternhoe Parish Council and Eaton Bray Parish Council towards the changes to the proposed HVG limit through these parishes. Still awaiting reply from Bucks County Council.

Tennis Club

Representatives from the Tennis Club approached the Parish Council with their plans to apply for funding towards additional improvements to the club. The club has asked if the council would agree to the renewal of the Tennis Club Lease to be brought forward to 2015 to allow for a funding application to be placed. It was proposed that the Tennis Club put together a draft Lease (based on the original document) and present it at the council’s April meeting for further discussion.

Bus Stop-Moor End/Three Corners

It has been brought to the council’s attention that there have been some problems being experienced at the bus shelter the concerns have been forwarded to the police for them to look into and action accordingly. The council wished to remind residents to report any incidents direct to the local policing team - Non-emergency call 101 / All emergencies 999

Elections

  • Parish Elections are to be held on Thursday 7th May 2015, if you wish to stand for Parish Councillor for Eaton Bray Parish Council then please contact the Parish Clerk for a nomination pack; the deadline for nomination papers to be sent to the Acting Returning Officer at Central Beds Council, Chicksands is Thursday 9th April 2015.
  • The General Election will take place on Thursday 7th May 2015. To vote in the election you must be on the electoral register. You can register online or by post, for further details go to: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.
