Matters Arising
Rye Rec and Coffee Tavern Car Park
The contractor is awaiting turf for the car park and the rec will be attended to this week.
Seating at Moor End Bus Shelter
Seating has now been completed.
Tree at Mill End
John Hopwood has planted the new tree at Mill End.
30mph Repeater Signs
Clerk has instructed works for the repeater signs.
Bower Lane Cemetery
Clerk has written to the family regarding the fallen headstone, requesting that this be attended to. No response.
Report from the G.P. Committee Meeting
To include recommendations to the P.C. on Ground Maintenance Contract - 23-Dec-04
Trees/Shrubs - Moor End Lane/Mill End Close
Recommendations for the curring back of shrubs and branches within the area. Clerk has requested a quote from contractor. Clerk has written to resident where there is overhanging headges.
Mobile Speed Unit
Cllr Beal proposed that now G.P. has obtained all necessary information for the hire of this unit they can now organise and schedule this operation, seconded by Cllr Janes, 6 in favour, 1 against and 1 abstention.
PC Neville Johnson
Forms were handed to the Cllrs which enables them to list 6 most concerning issues of crime and disorder. These forms have been issued to all Parishes and the information provided by them will assist in the Police finding solutions to these top concerns. Cllrs are to report back to the Clerk with their lists where a general consensus of the top 6 will be forwarded to PC Johnson.
13 crimes within the village have been reported ot the Police between 6-Dec-04 and 10-Jan-05 with 4 crimes being detected.
