Dog Fouling
ONCE AGAIN THIS IS BECOMING A PROBLEM.
One area of concern is at Eaton Bray Academy where dog walkers/owners are (allegedly) allowing their dogs run free in the area or tying to the posts at the school entrance; leading to dog fouling in the area and resulting in children walking in dirty shoes onto the school premises. A MAJOR HYGIENE ISSUE. It is an offence to allow a dog, which you are responsible for, to foul and not clear it up immediately when in a public place. There are a number of dog hygiene bins situated around the parish for dog walkers to use. Allowing dogs to foul and not clean up after them is illegal as well as being anti-social. Offenders can expect a fixed penalty notice or a court imposed fine of up to £1,000.
If you want to report a problem with dog mess or to report dog fouling, please call or email Central Beds Council Customer Services on - Tel: 0300 300 8302 or Email: [email protected].
