Blue Prints for the Classics

This quilt titled 'Blue Prints for the Classics' was made for the Quilters Guild Challenge at the Festival of Quilts, N.E.C. 2006.

The challenge was 'Classics in Blue and White'.

Scraps of fabric cut to 2" squares plus traditional patchwork blocks pieced together. I had fun playing with the word BLUE then machine quilted the hanging and applied narrow threads to the surface. I think it looks like a blue print!
