About time!! But they should have extended it further West to stop people blocking the road when they park outside the shops

February 19, 2014, Chris Turner says:

This is well overdue and much needed. The speed people travel through the village is disgusting. Sadly a lot of these people are residents of the village who should no better. School lane also needs speed humps. There is a 20 mph limit on School Lane, yet many parents feel it does not apply to them. Maybe they don't see the signs because they are to busy texting on their mobile phones.

February 26, 2014, Ian says:

By stopping people parking outside the shop you'll reduce the shop's custom. Do we want the shop to close?
These "cushions" are pointless anyway, its possible to drive in such a way as to have them go between the wheels and thus there is no impact.
These will not slow people down, just make them drive more erratically so as to avoid them.

February 26, 2014, Ruth Archer says:

Are they proposing to move the bus stop? The proposed shaded area states no waiting at any time and this appears to include the bus stop.
