EB Lions U9 Blues - 4
Sundon Park Rangers U9 Blues - 0
After a nervy start Lions settled down with a brace of goals from Myles Frederick and began to establish their habitual tone.
Sundon found range from their goal kicks though and maintained a threat, providing full backs James Glover, Joe Thorne and Sam Bramston with a stern test. Lions struck again before the break, Bill Moynes feeding through for Joe Rabey to complete.
Keeper Cameron Burchill was kept busy in the second as Rangers found their momentum, but sustained pressure from Ollie West in midfield and Toby McGee in front of goal gave the visitors scant margin for error, and the hosts picked up a fourth as Sam Carter found the end of Joe Rabey's corner, tapping in ahead of the final whistle.
The win puts Lions three points clear at the top of the league table.
