CricketThis match report is brought to you by Peacock and Roff (no DK and Barm not Ruff).

On a very green wicket remeniscent of cabbage, near a watering hole in Bletchley, Bray were soundly beaten for the 2nd week in a row.

Captain Peacock has clearly proven to be a useless tosser all season and once again his team were sent out to field, (even though it was a very bowler friendly wicket). A tight start by the openers Smith and Peacock and then 1st change bowler Roff, ensured wickets were taken fairly frequently and runs were restricted.

Joe Roff bowling on his favourite ground in the world where he has terrorised many batsmen finished with brilliant figures of 6-0-10-0, (if only more captains were watching).

Mike Smith chipped in with 1, Peacock with 2, Charlie "Dickens" Tickell swung it both ways like Barm on a Saturday in Cubes bowled beautifully for 2 wickets for 11 runs. Harvey bowling with Graeme Swann-esque ability was very unlucky with some mis-fields and also as a batsman hit one straight down vice-capatin Jones' neck, shame we all know the result of that one.

Jacob Barker, looking like Alex Wharf, bowled excellently apart from a few extras. Special mention for Jones, who tried to feed the pigeons cricket balls on many occasions. Shenley Church End ended on 168-5.

When Bray walked out to the bat-tlefield, the message was to be positive but stay there. Unfortuneately Mike Smith opening the batting, was caught by A.Peacock. Wilson soon followed LBW (yes and it was plum) for 5 and the team were in strife at 24-2. In came Peacock at 3, to try and forge partnerships, mainly with his favourite batting buddy, Joe Roff. However, due to cobwebs in the poor boys ears, he ran himself out. Peacock was eventually out for 29.

Not many others chipped in apart from Barker with a few lusty blows and McDermid who hung around to frustrate the bowlers and give Jake some strike. Unfortuneately Bray plummeted to 87 all out and back to the showers for some hot-headed banter and a scrap between Harv and Jacob.
