Frederick William Weedon Lance Corporal 32181 6th Battalion Bedfordshire Regiment

Frederick was born in Prentice Lane Eaton Bray in 1897 to parents William Weedon a Farm Labourer born Ivinghoe Aston Buckinghamshire and mother Hannah nee Oakins born Dagnall Buckinghamshire.

Like his father and brother before him he was a Farm Labourer at the age of 13.

Frederick volunteered on 10th August 1915 and was sent to the Balkans as 5035 the Bedfordshire Regiment. He was then sent to France and made 32181 Lance Corporal.

On 13th April 1917 he died from wounds probably received a few days before at the Battle of Arras where the 6th Battalion were in action.
