Maurice Maunders was born in 1918, the 3rd son to parents Arthur Maunders and Alice (nee Field).

Brother to Wesley (born 1907) and Reginald (born 1913).

Private 5952111 8th Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Transferred from the Bedfordshire Regiment.

Died Wednesday 29th May 1940 aged 21.

Buried in Kortrijk Communal Cemetery Kortrijk West Vlaanderen Belgium Row BB Grave 5.
