Two women have been charged in connection with the theft of thousands of pounds from a bank where they worked.

Hannah Carre, aged 22, from Eaton Bray, and Margaret Busani, 44, of Dunstable, have been charged with theft by employee and false accounting at the NatWest Bank in Harpenden between November 1 and December 31 last year.

They are due to appear before magistrates next week.
