Cricket: Bray overwhelmed
Posted on August 23, 2005
If Chelsea were playing Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup, the result would have been closer than this 1 sided encounter. A conference fixture, both sides were described as 'medium' strength, the Bray were therefore happy to learn that we were not playing against anyone 'strong.' Gunning shot us down with 157 not out, out of 322 for 3 (a record against the Bray) and the only positive that came out of the game was determined batting by Cottrell to ensure the Bray were not bowled out. If we ever play them again, we will have to remember to bring more balls.
