Churches on the South Beds church trails will be opening their doors from 2pm to 5pm this Sunday, bringing the season to a close.

One local trail includes St Mary's Roman Catholic Church in West Street, Dunstable, St Mary's Church in Eaton Bray, and St Giles' Church in Totternhoe.

Another includes St Mary's Church, Harlington; All Saints Church, Chalgrave; St George's Church, Toddington; St Mary's Church, Sundon; and St Nicholas Church, Barton.

A jazzy event will be held in Eaton Bray soon, to mark the close of the successful church trail season. St Mary's Church is the venue for the traditional jazz band concert, taking place on Saturday, September 10, at 8pm.

Tickets, cost £7.50, which includes a glass of wine. Proceeds will go towards the cost of carrying out repairs to the church roof and updating facilities in Eaton Bray Village Hall.
