Teenagers in Eaton Bray Park

Please can I raise awareness of teenager behaviour in Eaton Bray park by the Skate Park. Whilst I was all for the Skate Park to give the teenagers somewhere to meet, I feel they are somewhat abusing the privilage. My wife and I have had two instances where we have had to tell a group of underage youths to stop smoking and another time when we had to tell a group to stop trying to set alight the plastic chair with flammable liquid and matches. This is even more serious when you have toddlers and young children with you. This behaviour in the park is indicative of more widespread behaviour by a sizable minority of kids/ teenagers in the village displaying low level anti-social behaviour which is starting to give the village an uneasy feel. Could I please highlight this to the parish council so they can address the situation. Personally, I would request police presence in the village and particular the park. In addition, I would recommend anybody seeing anything which is causing concern to contact 101 to report anything anti-social. If action is not taken it could get out of hand.

Thankyou
