Eaton Bray Club House

The Football Club building is being demolished as I post.
Been a bit of an eyesore over the last few years but has had a great history for many in the village.
Wondered if anyone has some thoughts or memories.

Well I had my 21st Birthday party there, we had our engagement party there and both the boys had there Christening party there ... though I remember my 1st visit was about 1975!!

I have a lot of memories of that place good & bad but one sticks out and concerns Bernie whose party trick was to go on one knee in front of any pretty lady and propose, mind you this would all happen at 11 pm and after sinking 10 pints.
