Dog mess

I recently took the pleasure of strolling from Eaton Bray to Edlesborough on a dog poo spotting expedition. Ok not really, but thats what the walk turned out to be...
I counted more than 15 instances of dog mess on the pavement. I have started to notice it more and more through Eaton Bray in recent weeks and am unsure if the problem is an influx of incontinent pooches or owners with apparent bad backs who feel it is fine to layer the pavement in faeces. I am sure its an incredibly hard thing to police, so really its up the dog owners themselves to take some responsibility. I find it rather gross. Can the council take any action? Maybe a couple of people caught as examples and their fines publicised might help...

ditto... only good thing about the snow was it made the "poo watch" easier. This has been a topic of debate for as long as I can remember, no solution to date, yet as you say if we were to name & shame the owners we may see a slight improvement at least

I'm really fed up. When walking from Church Lane, behind St.  Mary's church,Eaton Bray, around the fields to the Post  Office or doctors. I am, it seems, always Stepping over dog poo. I walk over and then along side the stream which is a veritable poo alley. I am Always telling the grandchildren "watch where you tread". You really can't enjoy a lovely walk. What is wrong with dog owners? Would you leave your dog poo in your own garden?  No, but you walk your dog leaving it to somebody else to pick it up or tread in it. I have e mailed Bedfordshire Council and also Aylesbury. I am still waiting for a reply. I would like to ask for a dog bin near the St. Mary's entrance so that there is even less reason not to pick up your dog's mess..
