Too many Abraham Grooms - Help!

Hello, Having read a few topics here I have to congratulate you on the service you are providing and I wonder if you can assist me.
I have worked out that my family are descended from an Abraham Groom (b 1841 Eaton Bray) the (2nd?) son of Abraham Groom (b about 1814 Eaton Bray) and I belive a Mary Sturman (b abt 1814 Rickmansworth). I think their marriage was registered in Luton abt 1838.
So far, so good....
Now it gets a bit complicated. I think that the Abraham Groom (b.1814) was himself the son of yet another Abraham Groom (b about 1781) and I have a hunch that this final Abraham Groom is metioned by name in the transcription of the Will of William Groom that can be found here http://www.willtranscriptions.co.uk/surnames/g-h-i/groom_william_g37.htm. What I really need is some help in proving it to trace back another couple of generations.
One final thing, Is anything else known about the images of "Honeywick works and the Wheelright believed to be Mr. Groom" that were published in the Photos section on www.eatonbray.co.uk (site seems dead now but was ok last week). It's entirely possible that those are photographs of my GGG Grandfather, I'd love to know more.
Looking forward to any light you can shed on these two things for me.
PS. For the benefit of anybody else who ends up here while researching the Abraham Groom b about 1781, It seems he married twice, a first marriage to Mary Smith? at Eaton Bray around 1800, and later a second marriage to Maria Rhodes 1849 registered in Chelsea. I noticed some researchers have incorrectly assumed that Mary and Maria are the same person because of similarity in the name, but they are not. Following a summer visit to St. Marys Eaton Bray, I can confirm Mary Groom is buried in St. Marys Church, Eaton Bray with the inscription "In memory of Mary Wife of Abraham Groom who died August 25 1847 aged 72 years". Buried alongside are 2 children of Abraham and Mary, one a William who died May 29 1846 aged 6 and Jane October 12 1852 aged 18 months.

Wow! Thank you so much. I never expected so many. Looks like I have lots of work to do now investigating an unfortunate bovine incident in the family. Poor Thomas!
Once again thank you.

Wow i didn't know how many Grooms there were.. dang this is amazing... my family are decendances of Abraham Groom but i don't know alot about them but i do know that after his son was born they moved from West Virgina ( I can't spell right sorry) to Ohio then they had their daughter. before the daughter was born they had a really large farm land near the mountains and the Shenandoah River.

In my 'Groom' folder I have a page which I believe came from the Parish Magazine some time ago - It is an article on Blacksmiths and Wheelwrights -
... "The Grooms too had a long tradition of being the wheelwrights in the village during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries They lived in Green end and continued in business until this century.(1900's) when we find a record of samuel groom mortgaging his Wheelwrights Shop and Blacksmiths shop and paint house in 1905".

On Angel Fire the history of the Grooms family coming over from England was written by Geneva Evans, my mom! (Geneva G Grooms Evans ( 6-1924 to 12-2011) She researched it during her numerous UK trips. I actually found one of our forefathers, a Satterfield buried in Coventry Cathedral! I took photos and sent to mum! She did so much research. I have tried DNA twice=not enough DNA, so trying third time.
