Tompkins deaths- Hannah and James

Hi,
My GG great parents on my father's side were James Tompkins and Hannah Bird, I remember reading some where that Hannah had died after giving birth to my G Great mother Naomi Heels nee Tompkins and her husband James fell down a hole and died a few years later and Naomi and her siblings where shipped about to family mebers, Naomi ended up with I believe her cousin William Heels ( also looking for information on this line) and future husband and Amos lived with his uncle David and bra d farther Thomas Tompkins, looking to for this family line of enquiry, thanks in advance
