From Eaton Bray Parish Records 1559-1812.
Baptism April 19th 1795 Thomas son of Thomas and Alice Scott.
Don't know if he is your Thomas.
Do you have siblings for him?

Ray
We don't have any Paddefoots but we do have Puddefoots.
Marriage on Free BMD registered Leighton Buzzard June 1901 Ernest Eustace Scott to Ada Mary Puddefoot.
Are these your Grandparents?

Sorry Ray
Are you looking for the birth of Thomas who married Alice Gadsden?

Ray
First record I can find for the Scott family in Eaton Bray is the 1787 marriage for Thomas and Alice.
Also checked Totternhoe records but nothing there.

There is a burial on the Find My Past site for a Thomas Scott in 1841 Eaton Bray with a birth of 1766.
Does not say where born.
No baptism on their records.

Re Thomas Scott married 1787 died 1841. I have found a Thomas Scot (one "t", not uncommon for literacy levels of the day (Gadsden, Gadesden, Gaddesden a classic example)) christened 1765 at Milton Bryan, my inquiry re Scott Family History seems to link with this from Ray Scott (we share the same ancestor in Thomas born circa 1766).
Now trying to confirm Thomas and his Parentage.
I am interested in hearing from Ray Scott also.

I can confirm that Thomas Scott my ancester married Alice Gadsen 1763-1846. I have a photograph of my Grandmother Ada Scott making straw hats with work mates Cis Teaile (Gadsden), Jane Cobb (Gadsden) Mrs Copperwaite, Anne Copperwaite, Sue Cobb. I also want to go further back in my parentage, would be interested in Thomas 1765 to confirm the link. We go back further with Alice Gadsen's family tree.

Re common Ancestor Thomas B1765, my search leads me to believe his parents were John Scot and Alice Turner married under licence in Yorkshire around 1750. Only known sibling being Alley born Chalgrave, Bedfordshire.
Would like to make contact with Ray Scott directly if interested so combined search may benefit us both.
Could Tom and Harry please arrange.
