I am wishing to find any information about a Sarah Bray (born 31 Aug 1800?) who married Peter Murton  (born 25 Nov 1802? Died March 1863) in UK. They had a son Elisha Murton (born on 10 March 1835) who came to Australia. Not sure if you can help but my research has come to a halt. Thankyou

Sorry Marney.

Nothing local for your Sarah.
The only one I can find is born Gwennap Cornwall married to Peter Murton with parents William Bray and Sarah Bawden.
This is from a tree on the Ancestry site.

Hi Marney

William Bray / Sarah Bawden are my 4GG's on my mother's side.  I have just picked up the family genealogy in the last 3 months and this is the line I am working on now.  My mum is now 80+ and she has done quite a bit of work.  There are 6 other children in the family per my mum with Sarah No. 4 and my direct at  William No. 7.

The e-mail is current and I look at it most days.

Cheers
Ken

Looking for any information on Bray family that immigrated
To America, specifically the state of Virginia

I was just working on my Bray side and noticed your post.  William is your direct line.  He is my direct line.  He is my 3x g-grandfather followed by Caroline Bray.  I was not aware there were 7 children with William and Sarah Bawden.  I show only 2, William and Phillipa.
