We have had a request for information on a great human interest story from the Great War.

Although it is not thought that the main characters came from Eaton Bray we had many men serving with the Bedfordshire Regiment and the story may have got back to the village and been told down the years.

This is the story of Phyllis Trenches up until about 1916.

Does anyone know what happened to her?
