James Brandham.

Searching information on James Brandham.
1841 Census has him living in Eaton Bray - Moor End
James Brandham abt 1811
Sarah Brandham abt 1811
Jeremiah Brandham abt 1832
William Brandham abt 1833

I can't find a birth document or baptism that fits with dates, however there is one in 1807 with parents named as William Brandham and Jane.

On the same Census page is Henry (Brantham) corrected to Brandham abt 1811
His wife Maria abt 1806
Eliza abt 1834
David abt 1836
Emma abt 1838
Henry abt 1840

I am wondering who is James parents and what the connection to Henry Brandham is, as going through others family trees I can't find whether they are possibly brothers or cousins.

Any help or information appreciated.

Hi Vanessa...From Parish Register 1559-1812...Baptisms...Nov 18th 1809 George son of Jerimah & Sarah Brandom...Oct 11th 1812 Ann daughter of Jerimah Brandom...Looked on the IGI but entries for Eaton Bray are not in Parish registers.There is one in Dunstable for James 1806 that I can check out next week.

Is this the right marriage for James?....James Brandom to Sarah Hawkins 22nd November 1830 Tilsworth Beds.

I'm not sure, it sounds like it is right. I didn't have a marriage date for them and only had the name Sarah. I was only working off of census records for information. There first child was born 1832.  So the dates sound right.  Thank you, you are a wonderful help.

Seems this too, is a surname that has many spellings.

Vanessa...Found a posting on the "Leighton Buzzard Observer" guest book for a John Brandham of Eaton Bray.Post was from March 2010 from an "A Nelson" and also has an email address.Says he is willing to share information.If you google "Brandom Eaton Bray" you should find it under "LBO Guestbook".Might be worth looking at.

Vanessa...Have just searched records for James in Dunstable,Stanbridge & Tilsworth but can find nothing.Will try somewhere else.
