Hi - I can see in FamilySearch that Elizabeth Wallen married John Harris in Eaton Bray in 1796, but I can see nothing about her parents or ancestors there. Do you have any information?
I ask because it is possible that the John Harris she married is an ancestor of mine, and they may have moved to Luton.

Have looked at the Parish Register - John Harris was "of Edlesborough" and Elizabeth Wallen was "of Eaton Bray".    However, there are absolutely no other "Wallens" at Eaton Bray!!  It's definitely not an Eaton Bray name.  Not sure where she could have come from.

Thank Nicky! That's very helpful, in that it probably means it wasn't my John Harris.
Interesting to hear there are no other Wallens in Eaton Bray, too.

Just in case anyone else needs the information, there was an Elizabeth Wallen born in 1770 in Ellesborough, Bucks, so that could have been her (and was probably the 'Edelsborough' above).
