Hi, could anybody shed some light on a Mary Colyer,married to William Hewitt about 1670. She may not be from Eaton Bray. Kind Regards Colin.

Nothing in Parish Records1559-1812.

Only thing I can find at the moment is a marriage in Sundon Luton for a William Hewitt to Mary Colyer 10th October 1639 which is out of your time frame.
William's parents are down as John Hewitt and Ann Allyn.

Baptisms around your time frame.

20th March 1668 Ann daughter of William & Mary Hewit.
November 17th 1671 Edward son of William & Mary Hewit.
September 27th 1673 Sarah daughter of William & Mary Hewit.
September 24th 1680 Elizabeth daughter of William Hewet.
July 28th 1683 Jane daughter of William Hewet.

Could be your William & Mary.

Hi all,
Thanks for all the info on William & Mary Hewet, that is the same info I have, but the dates don't match. I can't seem to find a match anywhere. The only thing I found was that Ann Allyn was a Widow when she married John Hewet. Thanks again for your help. Kind Regards Colin.
