My great Grandad was Charles Irons born 1874 - son of David Irons & Ruth Cobb. I believe David was Charles' brother. David was born 1841 the son of George Irons and Mary Cobb.We have David's history but not Charles, however there was a Charles death recorded 1853 Leighton Buzzard and as this is where my 1874 Charles ended up it might be worth checking out.

There is a death June 1853 for a Charles Irons in Leighton Buzzard but cant see it on the original entry so could be transcribed wrong.Only death for Charles I could see around that time was in Brixworth Northampton.

Had another look at the transcribed 1853 death for Charles.I think the only way to be sure is to send for the death cert as original is unreadable.

#277 Tom n Harry, 18 March 2010, 13:20

There is a tree on Ancestry that has a death for Charles reg June 1854 Hemel Hempstead vol 3a page 191.Tree has his death in Berkhampstead. It might be worth sending a message.
