Hello,
My husband comes from Hampstead London and I'm trying to complete his mother's family tree.
Looking for background on Charles Headland born 1866 in Islip Northamptonshire. Died in Luton 1946. Married Kate Brown in 1893. She dies in 1946 and was buried in Eaton Bray age 83. I think he would of been buried with his wife of 53 years. He worked as a train wagon worker.
Searching the internet he seems to have done most of his drinking in the pub next to the cemetery I think it's was the White Horse and I think there was a photo of him put on the wall inside the pub.
I would love to put together his history good or bad. Please let me know about any information or stories about Charles Headland.
