Ashpool's and Ashpool's cottage

Does anyone know anything about the Ashpool's and Ashpool's cottage in Eaton Bray. I remember my Dad Richard George Ashpool showing me where Ashpool's cottage was when I was little but have been back now I'm older to find it and cant. It use to say Ashpool's cottage above the door.

It just came to me that it was in Northall down the road and not Eaton bray. Still as it was so close, someone may know .

Had a quick look on census but cant find any Ashpools living in Northall or Edlesborough after 1881.They may have moved back at a later date....
Can you remember when you first saw the cottage?

Might have just hit lucky...Google "Ashpools cottage Northall" and there is a site for Edlesborough Parish Council.On a planning application for 27th May 2009 there is "Ashpools Chapel Lane Northall". Hope this helps..

Little bit more on the cottage from a local historian....It was sold in 1923 as part of The Brownlow Estate to the Pratt family.It was sold as "Ashpools Cottage".

I realize it is a long time since this thread was active but I do know a bit about Ashpools cottage. I used to live there a long time ago. If you are still looking for information drop me a line.

Ashpools Chapel Lane Northall.
Dear all. I lived in this house between 1970 and 1975.  I was 5 in 1970.  I believe the house was haunted by a lady, who used to call my name out in the middle of the night.  She seemed to have a message for me, but I was too scared to listen!  Does anyone know the history of the house? Who was the lady? Has anyone else ever come across a similar phenomenon?
