Eaton Bray Millenium Book - Pages 9-10

The Lodge and outbuildings formed the offices of administration of Arthur McNamara, Lord of the Manor and principal landowner in Eaton Bray at the turn of the century. Much of this was to change when in 1915, the Pedley Estate, as it was known, was sold by auction. The Lodge was bought by Mr Sanders for the princely sum of £865.
