Vacancy For Parish Councillor
There is a vacancy for a Parish Councillor on Eaton Bray Parish Council. If you are interested in joining the council please contact the Parish Clerk.
Police Camera In High Street
PC Viv Dady was asked about the installation of a police camera in the High Street; however as this is not her jurisdiction advised the Parish Council contact those responsible for this installation.
Mobile Skate Park
PC Dady confirmed that the police are still looking into the option of a mobile skate park, however have encountered a number of obstacles with its installation.
The Meads Allotments
Letters have gone out to all allotment tenants, with a deadline for tenancy renewals being 31st October 2009. Failure by tenants to make their payment by that date will result in the termination of their tenancy agreement and the plot/s will be offered to those on the waiting list.
EB Lions/Youth Football
Representatives of Eaton Bray Lions/Youth Football Club explained to the Parish Council that the club, since being formed, has expanded greatly and need additional pitches in the area and have suggested The Rye Recreation Ground. This would be used for youth 11-a-side matches on Saturday/Sunday mornings. The Parish Council agreed to this proposal with a season to season review.
Damaged Kissing Gate (Park Lane)
The Parish Council are in the process of obtaining quotes for the work.
Damaged Bus Shelter (The Rye)
The Parish Council are in the process of obtaining quotes for the work.
School Lane Recreation Ground Improvements
The Parish Council has been informed that the main funders for the project have agreed to the council’s chosen contractors/quote and work is due to commence on the Skate & Ride area.
