Summary of Minutes - Tuesday 9th May 2006

Speeding Traffic and Traffic Calming

It was proposed to hold a separate meeting to discuss this problem. July 6th at 7.30 was decided. Ad to be placed in Focus asking Parishioners to attend to give their views.

PC Byelaws

Changes to the byelaws were agreed at the March meeting, implementation of these has been delayed awaiting a response from DEFRA.

School Lane & The Rye recreation grounds play equipment

It was agreed to ask the handyperson to start the painting and groundwork.

Details of further repairs needed to be discussed at the next meeting along with the proposals for installation of safety matting when finances allow.

Burial Charges

It was unanimously decided to increase burial charges.

All costs were increased by £10. A charge of £25 was also to be implemented for Headstones.

Monday 5th June 2006, 7.30pm, in the Coffee Tavern.
